Hello computer nerds of the fediverse, I'm trying to figure out if all the fuss about the RESTRICT Act thing is just tik-tok misinformation nonsense or if there's something to it. Notably I don't see the usual advocacy organizations chiming in loudly about it like they would if this was a big threat to individual privacy.
