I was one of four people on the plane wearing a mask.
@ajroach42 Yeah, that... is not good. And a big part of why I've started avoiding the majority of travel.
@ajroach42 How far did you have to travel? Was by-road an option?
My $WORK wants me to take a cross-country trip this year, too, and I've already told them I don't fly.
@mdm more or less coast to coast, and I didn't ask if I could come by car. I don't have three or four days to waste in transit.
@ajroach42 Sigh. The fact that companies would still pay, at their own expense, to fly a person across an entire country for a meeting, when a video call would work, confuses me. In this economy?
If I had had the option, I would not have made this trip.
I will tell management as much when I see them face to face. If they're going to make me fly out here, they're going to hear, in detail and in person, exactly how much I resent that.
