Do I want people to know my name in 4000 years?

I think not.

Show thread

I was thinking the other day about permanence.

There's a man who's name is fairly widely known thousands of years after his death thanks entirely to the poor quality of his copper.

Is this the kind of world we want to live in.

OBS said everything was fine. I kicked it and brougt it back and it seems to be working again.

but I have no evidence as to why.

So I guess it's time to start checking the debug logs.

And the live stream crashed. I don't see any obvious evidence as to why.

The system is as healthy as ever. Nothing obvious in the logs. Going to check OBS.

@ajroach42 Vampire City, by Paul Féval, tr. by Brian Stableford. Brian's a good writer himself, and tr. dozens of French pulp horror/action novels. Féval's crazy, swordsmen/women fighting monsters, ominous dark cities, so goth it should only be read with The Cure playing.

Haruki Murakami's Hard-Boiled Wonderland, 1Q84, etc. are good pulp weird tales.

Koushun Takami's Battle Royale. The manga and movie are good, too, but the original novel is fucking amazing, brutal and dark, often funny.

This concert, from July, is one of the best we've ever done, and this video is my favorite of the ones we've produced so far.

I love the bands that performed. We have a new director/editor working on this set, and he did a really great job.

(for reference, with 40 concurrent viewers on the livestream our CPU sticks around 10% utilization.)

This is what it looks like when I boost videos from New Ellijay TV on this account.

Show thread

Looks like more Space Patrol, and I don't want that. So I'm going to skip it, sorry everyone.

Show thread

Oh, it's an Early episode. When Tonga was still potentially evil.
