Hi folks! This is @seanl's second Fediverse account. I felt like I was missing out on the full Mastodon experience by living on an "instance of one". The local and federated timelines on social.literati.org are completely useless since the local timeline is just my toots and the federated timeline is everyone I've ever followed.
Not sure whether I'll use this account for a specific purpose or ultimately migrate over here, but here I am!
@freakazoid @seanl I'm having the same problem right now. I can't really find any interesting people on a solo instance.
Kinda sucks because your instance owner controls everything, which lessens the effect of decentralization, etc etc.
Oh well.
