Manos the Hands of Fate is in my top five favorite movies. It's possibly the weirdest movie I've ever seen.
"Manos: the Hands of Fate demonstrates an important lesson: if applied consistently, incompetence can be a style. This narrative feature film was shot with a hand-wound 16 mm camera that could only capture thirty seconds of footage at a time."
@tcql But I feel like that makes it sound ... Bad, and it's too weird to be bad.
It's a fever dream. A hazy vacation in a world beyond ours, in which vague horrors terrorize a small family.
It's not a good movie, but it is among my favorite movies.

@tcql This one sits right in between actually spooky and kind of silly.
House on Haunted Hill
Vincent Price again, the movie is actually well made, although the plot is pretty silly.
It's a William Castle film, which means there was a weird gimmick in the theaters (in this case, they flew skeletons on strings in to the audience at one particular point late in the film.)
It's well acted, and atmospheric, but ultimately just silly.
