Going on a road trip to Spartanburg, SC for the eclipse this weekend. Looking for road trip sights to see. Driving from DC area.

@peroty Keep driving south, and hit Stone Mountain and Ruby Falls on the GA/Tennessee line?
There's also the Lost Sea (although I think it got super religious) and that giant Treehouse church thing in TN.

@peroty I'm from that area, and it's super embarrassing.
Stone Mountain is a GIANT hunk of granite that can be seen from far away, and it's just straight up covered with the faces of confederate generals.
The Klan has met on top of it several times. The whole thing is a disgusting.

Avoid Stone Mountain rn. Lots of racists.
